Created Issue: No outgoing Messages

Hi All,

I set up the MSR India SMS Server and Synchronized with ActiveSync without any issues. When I send a message to the connected Windows Mobile Phone, the phone receives the message, but does not send a response from the excel sheet. Am I doing something wrong somewhere? Please help.

This is occuring evertime I run the SMS Server Agent...

I'm running Vista connecting to a Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC device...

Hello,
When I try to install the program with a windows vista, I receive the error message 2869 (even when I run the program as administrator).
Can you please help me with this?

I have cingular 8125 phone and I have followed all the instructions however when I start the sms server agent the client boots up on my phone as well, however the server says connecting with phone client and never actually connects. Please advise

I had similar issue. But after I installed "Windows Mobile Device Center" from www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile, I did not get that problem.

You need SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition which can be downloaded from

Sorry guys, but in Vista this throws Error 2689... Lucky though I know what it is, it's not got permissions to install; you need to run it with elevated permissions... Thanks for the info, it installs fine if you run it as an Administrator. Will try to update a vista specific installer!!!

As a workaround, you can download the Additional file for Vista from here and run it as administrator!!
